DIARY

MAY 20TH – 22ND 2016

The FA Cup final as expected brought wave after wave of generous free bet offers from the bookies, which Profit Squad members were shown how to exploit for some easy cash. This wasn’t all; as per usual casino offers were on the table too. We also saw an unusually high volume of offers on Monday for a nice change!

The offer(s) of the week came from Ladbrokes who gave out free bets to all punters who had backed a losing selection on each of 4 different markets of the Wembley showpiece after United and Palace scored. One way to guarantee your bet lost in the event of both teams scoring was by backing a correct score in which one team failed to find the net such as 1-0 or 0-2. Other eligible markets included ‘Half time/Full time’ which brought in a free bet for me after the ninety minute result finished a draw as I had selected United to be winning at he end of both halves. Those fortunate enough to live near a Ladbrokes shop were also able to qualify for a free bet by backing and laying the ‘Match Odds (1X2)’ market – always the best one for finding small qualifying losses. Even with the larger qualifying losses of around £4 or £5 per £25 bet this offer was still great value as the chance of both teams scoring and therefore you getting a free bet were around 50%. If you lose £5 a hundred times, but make £20 fifty times, you can see how offers like this represent great value.

Other bookies were almost as generous, with 188Bet putting on its usual ‘Money Back if David De Gea Keeps a Clean Sheet’ offer and NetBet offering customers who staked £20 on one of either United or Palace a £5 free bet for every goal their team scored. With United having one of the league’s meanest defenses this past season, and De Gea in fine form as usual, the 188 offer represented almost as good value as those from Ladbrokes. Unfortunately on this occasion Palace got a goal so no free bet this time, but that meant a £5 free bet consolation prize after backing them with Netbet, not to mention the avalanche of Ladbrokes free bets referred to above. Betstars also offered money back if the match went to penalties which alas never happened on this occasion. Then there was Paddy Power popping up with its usual 2 x £5 in play free bets for all those who backed and laid a pre match selection as per the instructions on Profit Squad, locking in a guaranteed £5 profit. A further fiver was taken from Betfred who gave out £10 free bets for the England match to customers who had bet £10 on three of the major European domestic cup finals which took place on Saturday. Those who fancied a risk free shot on the slots were also rewarded with free spins and a casino bonus from Genting and Coral respectively for backing and laying in the match odds market pre match.

All in all it was a very profitable cup final. No doubt bookies will be competing with each other to make this coming Saturday’s Champions League final even more lucrative for delighted Profit Squad members!

Those with who didn’t mind spending a little extra time completing some of the other non – cup final related offers may have hit a big win too. Betfair Arcade continued its recent weekly habit of offering punters a risk free shot at a big win with losses up to £5 refunded on another of its new slots, ‘Roman Gold’ following its merger with Paddy Power. Nothing for me on this one this time! But more than made up for with the £84 I made from the offer under their casino tab: Bet £10 Get 10 Free Spins’. The estimated value of this offer was only around £2. Some might therefore think this is not worth the effort. However as this win proves, you never know on which offer your big wins will come from. Volume is key when taking value. Do all the offers on the Profit Squad calendar and see your bank grow!
