A New Addition To My Portfolio – Introducing – My Each Way Selections

Hi all

From tomorrow I am going to be adding to the portfolio of strategies that I am reviewing.

The new addition will be based on my own horseracing selections and will be based on selections that I back each way.

The method of selection will be one of finding mathematical value on the place part of the bet that will give the overall each way bet a positive edge over the bookmaker.

I will start the review with a bank of £200

I am going to use the current staking plan that Changing Days successfully uses on his winning a fortune blog, which is to back at 1% of the bank as the bank rises. If the bank drops, still bet the initial bet amount (which will be more that 1% of the reduced bank). If however a particularly bad run occurs losing 50% of the bank I will cut the stakes in half to protect the bank.

Because the staking will consist of bets with a total value of 1% of the bank,  this means that each half of the each way bet will equal 0.5% of the betting bank.

For example if my bank is £200 I will bet a total of 1% on each selection which would be £2 for this example, making the bet £1 each way.

There will be occasions where I find particularly strong selections and for those selections the bet will become a ‘DOUBLE STAKER’ (Thanks to CD from winning a fortune for that idea). As the name suggests I will double the stake making my total liability on the bet 2% or put another way 1% each way.

There may be some days when there are no selections but on days when there are selections I will endeavour to post them from approximately 11:00 onwards.

Because of the nature of the selection criteria some selections may not appear until later in the day but if that does happen I will update the selections post for that day to include the new selection.
